Overview
Its easy to create free animated musical evites and online invitations.
There are four numbered tabs, these represent four easy steps to create your Evite.
Enter the information requested under each tab. When you get to tab #4, review all
of the information listed, and if it is correct, click the “SEND Now button”. All
of your guests will be emailed a link to your Evite, and asked to respond. You may
edit this Evite at anytime, and you may also add additional guests. Additionally,
you can send reminders and updates at any time up to the date of the event.
Step 1.
Select a custom theme for your Evite. You can Change the background image, music,
title, colors and a special animated introduction.
If you don’t wish to include either an animation or music, simply choose the “no
selection” choice from the pulldown menu, under the appropriate option. Each selection
will produce a preview of that choice. To see a complete preview, click the orange
“Preview button”. When you are happy with your choices, click tab #2.
Step 2.
Enter all of the requested information. Only your phone number is optional. All
of the other information is required. You may change how your name is displayed
if you wish. When you are happy with your choices, click tab #3.
Step 3.
This is the step where you invite all of the people you want to attend your event.
You should see a list of names with check boxes. Check all of the names you wish
to invite. If you want to invite someone not already on your list, then use the
“add this friend box”. Enter first and last names, and email then click the “add
button” . The new guest will appear on the master list in alphabetical order with
a check next to his/her name. If you do not have any guests listed, click the “import
friends” button to import your contacts from any web email account, like hotmail,
yahoo, or gmail. You can also import contacts from Microsoft Outlook. Be sure to
follow the instructions and view the help files that are presented to you. When
you are happy with your choices, click tab #4.
Step 4.
Check to see that all of the information that is presented on this page is correct.
Check your guest list to see if all of your intended guests were invited. If everything
is satisfactory, click the “Send button”. If all of the steps have been completed
properly, your Evite will be sent by email to all of your guests. You may preview
your Evite page by clicking the “preview button”. This is what your guests will
see. If there is anything that is incorrect you can go back to the appropriate tab,
change the information, return to Tab 4 and click the “Send button” again. Don’t
worry about clicking the “Send button”. After the first time, only new guests will
get emails and your Evite page will be updated. Guests who have already been invited
will not be sent subsequent emails.
UPDATING YOUR EVITE
Is there a way for me to edit my Evite or add new guests after I have created and sent it?
Yes.
1. Click the member button
2. Click the My Evites Tab
3. Select your Evite from the list
4. Then press one of the function buttons to:
a. View your Evite as it appears to guests
b. View an RSVP summary
c. Edit any details or add new guests
d. Delete the evite if necessary
Can I add guests after I have sent my Evite?
Yes. You can add guests at anytime after you have created and sent your Evite.
1. Click the member button
2. Click the My Evites Tab
3. Select your Evite from the list
4. Click the Add guests or Edit data button
5. Add your new friends under the Invite Your Friends Tab
6. Click the Review and Send tab then click the Update Your Evite button
When I add guests after I have sent my Evite I see my original guests still on the list, along with my new guests, will they be sent emails again?
No. Guests who have been sent evite invitations once will never be sent an additional email.
Can I remove guests after I have sent my Evite?
Once an invitation has been sent, it cannot be prevented from reaching a guest. However if you do not wish others to see a guest's comments, you can edit the evite and uncheck that guest from the guest list.
Can I send update information by email to all of my guests?
Yes.
There is a text box for you to enter an event update message. Click the
Send an Update button to send the message
to all of your guests. You can use this as an alert to signal a change of date or place.
Can I send reminders to guests who haven't responded after I have sent my Evite?
Yes.
Click the Send a Reminder button function to send a
reminder of the event to any guest who has not yet responded.
Can I update or change
the date, place or time after I have sent my Evite?
Yes. You can always edit any existing evite and change any element of the detail
information.

Can I change any of the animation or sound after I have sent my Evite?
Yes. You can always edit any existing evite and change any element of the
animated presentation.

Can my guests invite other guests?
Yes. There is a check box available to enable this option when you create your
evite.

Can
I have a thank you page for guests to post to after my party or event?
Yes. There is a check box available to enable this option when you create your
evite.
If enabled, the day after your evite a thank you page will be set up and your
guests will be notified by email that they can post comments. You will recieve
those comments by email, and a link will be provided to a web page (similar to
your Evite page) where all comments will be listed. This option is disabled by
default.
Can my guests see the replies of other guests?
Yes they can. Premium members have the option of hiding replies from other
guests
How do I check my guest counts to see who has accepted and who has declined?
Select your evite, and you will see the status of your guests and count totals.
You can also click the View the Evite button to see an individual guest's reply and status.
How long will my Evite exist?
Your evite will expire 1 month after the date of the event. Premium members can
keep their Evites open forever, and reuse them at later dates if desired
What is the maximum number of guests that I can invite?
Free accounts are limited to a maximum of 150 guests.
Can my guests change their guest status (yes,no,maybe) after they have responded?
Yes. They can, by clicking on the same link in their invitation email, you will get an email notification, and the evite guest count
will be updated. They can also modify the text of their initial response as well.
